Flowsys

Flowsis belongs to the third generation of continuous flow analysers and is used to analyse water, soil, plant extracts and other industrial samples.

With more than 800 applications available for the analysis of multiple matrices, FLOWSYS is a CFA analyser capable of combining high performance and low running costs with simple and immediate use.

The segmented technique offers all the possibilities of flow analysis, highly integrated and modular sample preparation, and handling technique, with exceptional repeatability.

Third-generation plumbing

The Microflow CFA technique carries out all stages of the analytical procedure using reaction vessels with an internal diameter of 1.0 mm. These flow conditions offer a number of advantages, both in terms of analytical performance and ease of operation. The reduction in flow volume of the 40% compared with the second-generation CFA means that a smaller pump is required. The high-precision multi-channel pump, dedicated to each analytical channel, offers maximum flexibility and ease of maintenance. The physical properties of the segmented flow in Microflusso provide high mixing efficiency and faster reaction kinetics. Microflow provides simple and safe conditions for CFA applications, using in-line distillation (cyanide, phenol index) or UV digestion (total P, total N). Flowsis enables the measurement of available cyanides using a membrane diffusion technique coupled with an amperometric detector, in accordance with ASTM D6888-09 and OIA1677; it also enables the rapid detection of free cyanides in accordance with ASTM D7237 and ISO 14403, and total cyanides via UV digestion, membrane diffusion and an amperometric detector, in accordance with ASTM D7511-09e2.
