We offer local environmental data acquisition and monitoring systems, the result of nearly thirty years of experience in the development and supply of integrated water quality monitoring systems, primarily here in Italy.

ZETALOG

Microcontroller-based and programmable systems, built on low-power hardware, designed for remote data and alarm communication via 3G/4G cellular networks, which can be used in self-powered monitoring systems powered by photovoltaic panels, including coastal buoys

ZetaLog Box and LCD are data loggers designed specifically for field use, enabling easy remote monitoring and data management.

ZetaLog uses a combination of GSM/SMS and LTE technology, with the following data features:

Sending data and alerts via SMS.
Direct transmission of LTE data to the ZetaCED web server, enabling remote viewing and management of the data.
Onboard microSD/SD card for up to 8 GB of data and logs.
FTP file transfer.
Configuration of basic parameters via SMS messages.
Direct control of serial devices via a remote connection to the LTE gateway.
Ability to manage SYSTEA WIZ, YSI®, and Eureka probes.

The ZetaLog Box is housed in an IP65-rated PVC enclosure. Both versions of ZetaLog include a small 1.9 Ah rechargeable battery and a battery charger.
ZetaLog can be programmed to periodically turn serial devices on and off and perform analytical measurements.
ZetaLog is also capable of managing complex analytical sequences.
ZetaLog features 5 or 8 digital inputs, 4 relays or 8 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs, and 4 analog outputs.
Integrated voltage and temperature sensors.
Low power consumption with “ready-to-use” GSM (12 VDC @ 20 mA).
ZetaLog can be powered via AC (85–230 VAC) or DC (8–36 VDC).

Zetastation

Zetastation enables integrated control and local configuration of a water quality monitoring station, local storage of measurement data and alarms, local display of alphanumeric and graphical data, and remote transmission of data and alarms to the Web Cloud for storage, validation, visualization, and further processing.

The hardware configuration described above can be expanded depending on the specific application.
The system provides comprehensive control over the following water quality measurement instruments:

via RS-232/485/USB/Ethernet: multiparameter water quality probes, current meters, Micromac online analyzers
via digital I/O or RS-232 serial ports: automatic water samplers
via 4–20 mA analog inputs: online water analyzers or other sensors equipped with analog outputs.

To keep the system running even in the event of a brief interruption in the main power supply, we recommend powering it using rechargeable batteries and a 220 VAC battery charger; the 24 VDC power supply allows the system to be used even with unattended power systems.
Zetastation is designed to periodically send acquired data and alarms via LAN or the internet through a modem-router to a web server for storage, validation, display, and further processing of data and alarms.
Zetastation allows for remote connection to Micromac online analysers, in order to perform diagnostic checks on their operation in case of reported problems or malfunctions.

The Zetastation management software is based on a high-level graphical interface running on the Microsoft Windows 10® operating system and offers the following key features:

detection of changes in the state of local alarms (e.g. open door, main power failure, missing water sample, …);
local storage of instrumental data, averaged over a predefined time interval or provided directly by the specific analyzer/sensor, alarms and events;
identification and storage of water quality threshold overlaps;
programming and management of predefined sequences of water sampling and data collection from the instrumentation and local storage of the data in logs including date, time and a status word to be used later for data validation;
local video presentation of alphanumeric and graphical data, with graphical highlighting of the overlap of threshold data or generated alarms;
sending data and alarm text messages to predefined cell phones and receiving specific text messages to be used for remote system diagnostics and operation;
