SH-UVFS200 UV full spectrum absorption digital probe
Overview
The UV full spectrum absorption digital probe employs UV-Vis absorption technology to ascertain corresponding pollutant levels within water samples, achieved through dual-beam compensation integrated with chemometric algorithmic analysis. The measurement system comprises the measurement probe, controller, connecting cable (standard 10 metres), and a mechanical brush.
Measurement technique
Different pollutants in the water body have certain characteristics of light absorption at different wavelengths (water absorption spectral fingerprint), as shown in the following figure. The full-spectrum water quality probe detects pollutants in the water body using the absorption spectrum in the 190nm ~ 750nm band and a chemometric mapping relationship, so as to obtain the analysis of COD, TOC, BOD5, turbidity, colour, TSS, and nitrate pollutant content in water samples.
