SH-UVFS200 Continuous Spectrum Digital UV Probe

 

Overview

The continuous spectrum UV absorption probe uses UV-Vis absorption technology to obtain corresponding pollutant levels in water samples through dual-beam compensation combined with chemometric algorithmic analysis. The measurement system consists of the measurement probe, the controller, the connection cable (standard 10 metres), and the mechanical wiper.

Measurement technique

The different pollutants present in the water body have specific light absorption characteristics at different wavelengths (water absorption spectrum fingerprint), as shown in the following figure. The full-spectrum water quality probe detects pollutants in the water body using the absorption spectrum in the 190nm ~ 750nm band and the chemometric mapping relationship, so as to obtain the pollutant content analysis of water samples for COD, TOC, BOD5, turbidity, colour, TSS, and nitrates.
